Plank Push-Ups w/ SOG Traning Co.
Here's a great workout for those of you who may not have access to a world-class gym or maybe you don't have the space necessary to workout at home. Plank push-ups are a variation of the standard push-up, except you're dropping down to your forearms and pressing up from your forearms; which make these a lot tougher and less time consuming. - Step 1: Start off in a standard push-up position with your arms locked out about shoulder's width apart - Step 2: From push-up position, place one forearm at a time flat on the ground - Step 3: Push back up off of your forearms using your hands and return to starting position with arms locked out - Do 2-3 sets of 10 reps for beginners and 2-3 sets of 25 reps for advanced *Remember to keep your back straight so that your core is being involved, and stay in control as you drop to your forearms. Be sure to use a pad or anything available to absorb the shock from your forearms. Thanks for watching and God bless!

He used to help run the company before falling out with his brother. The glass, steel and tiles used to make the building are reported to be from local sources. Ambani does not appear to be influenced by calls by the Indian prime minister, Manmohan Singh, for business leaders to be "role models of moderation".

Dumbell push-ups. My client Dawn is demonstrating the dumbell push-ups with 20 pounds. This is a difficult technique. I challenge you to try it. Make sure your feet are spread apart when doing these.

Pushups - Best Home Fitness Exercise
Not often do people have the time of day to get a gym membership and then go on a regular basis. Disregard the factors about money and how some gym memberships you almost need to take out a bank loan for. Most of us do however have 5-10 minutes a day to devote to some home fitness exercises. We have a wide array of options of what to do but there is one that jumps out as being the most effective.
One of the top home exercises one can do at their house or even anywhere they might be is the traditional PUSHUP. Of course some may think but it is so old and shouldn't we be using some home gym that we see on TV everyone using. The answer to that is no unless you want to waste your hard earned money. The pushup is a great start to doing home fitness exercises.
Muscles and body parts the pushup Works:
Back Muscles, Shoulders, Bodyweight, Chest, Triceps, Arms, Compound, Upper Body
You start off a pushup with ones arms extended and in a locked poition with ones feet pointed and legs in a full extension behind them. So the four points holding you up are your 2 hands and your 2 feet. You then lower yourself to ground slowly as to almost kiss the ground, and then back up to a locked strait arm position again. One can modify this by exchanging the 2 feet for their knees. This is an easier way to do pushups but yet stil effective till you build the strength to do full oness.
Start out this routine by doing 3 sets, and do as many as you can do each set, almost till muscle failure and then stop. You should then wait ten minutes and do the same again. As time goes on you should increase both the reps and sets that you do, to increase and burn even more fat. In total this might add up to 5 minutes a day, certainly someting most of us can afford.
Do the pushups on a yoga mat for comfortability if you want but they work on any service, at home or in the office.
These pushups that you are doing get your muscles alot stronger as you will see over time. Your workouts will burn more fat then you ever imagined, it all ads up. So if you want less fat and a more toned body do as much home fitness exercises - pushups as time will allow.
I am 35 years old and have been involved in helping people with their
home fitness exercises routine for the last 10 years. It's more affordable than a gym and works even better.

I picked this variation up from Smitty of Diesel Crew. Check out his youtube account at www.youtube.com Basically you need to get a partner to push down hard on the kettle bell as you swing it up. This is going to make the eccentric (lowering) phase of the movement a lot more efficient, and help you develop a better stretch reflex for jumping. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, so if you lower fast, you will go up fast. The push also adds more load to the kettle bell, and they're expensive, so yah gotta get the most out of the ones you have (Dumbbells work too). For the second set I attached a monster mini band using a carabiner. This looked really funny, but I found it hit my glutes even harder because of the extra tension at the top of the movement, and I also got a massive pull down from the band. I liked my band set up better than the partner push down. I highly recommend putting both into your training. Both of these movements can also be performed by holding the top end of a dumbbell. Just make sure you communicate with your partner so they know not to knock it out of your hands ![]()
